Centre for Monetary and Financial Economics Conference at Carleton

This is where I will be today and tomorrow: "Economic and Financial Crisis: Lessons from the Past, and Reforms for the Future". I will see how much sinks into my brain, and probably post about it on the weekend.

That’s a pretty sweet agenda, Nick. Looking forward to hearing about it.

    How’d it go?

It went well. I’m still collecting my thoughts. The most important part of the conference, from the policy perspective, was probably the discussions of bank supervision and systemic risk. But this is also the area I understood least. The papers and power points (mostly power points) will be posted in a day or two. The whole conference was video recorded. Carleton has its own TV channel ( plus we stream it on the web). Eventually we will broadcast it.

Will be interested in hearing more. Thought I’d pass this along:

I prefer the sister organization: FathersAgainstAssets — yet strangely it is not as popular.
